From the lab to the field
CENUP began in the labs of Imperial College London, where chemists, catalysts experts, enzymologists and plant biologists came together around a shared question: what if we could make plants use energy more efficiently - not by changing them, but by gently catalysing the chemistry they already do?
The answer became a new class of bio-mimetic catalysts that, when applied as a foliar spray at vanishingly low doses, suppress wasteful photorespiration and redirect that lost energy into yield.
We are now translating that science into a real product, with patent protection, early trial validation across multiple crops, and a commercial pathway designed around partnerships with the trusted distribution networks farmers already use.
It starts with the soil - and ends with measurable yield.
